GETTING THERE
Here's everything you need to know about getting to Turku and to the venue, Urheilupuiston Yläkenttä. We’re excited to welcome you to the beautiful city of Turku!
HOW TO GET TO TURKU
BY FERRY Viking Line has regular connections between Stockholm and Turku. The Port of Turku (Turun Satama) is approximately two kilometres from the city centre and can be reached by local bus number 1.
BY TRAIN The national train company VR departs from local railway stations all throughout Finland. There are two railway stations in Turku, but the main railway station at Ratapihankatu 37 is currently closed due to renovation. The Kupittaa railway station, located at Joukahaisenkatu 6, is about 1.5 kilometers from the city center. When coming from Helsinki, get off at the final station, which is currently Kupittaa railway station. There are plenty of bus connections from Kupittaa railway station to all around Turku. The bus traffic in Turku is organized by Föli.
BY BUS The national long-distance bus service Matkahuolto departs from local bus stations throughout Finland and also from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. Another available bus company is Onnibus. The final stop in Turku for long-distance buses is at the Turku Bus Station (linja-autoasema), which is located in the city center.
BY PLANE Turku airport has direct flight connections from several cities in Europe and even more destinations with a short stopover. Turku airport is 8 kilometers from the city center, which can be reached by taxi or by local bus number 1. If more convenient for you, you can also book your flight to Helsinki, arriving at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. Long-distance bus and train connections leave approximately every hour from the airport to Turku. The travel time between Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and Turku is about two and a half hours. Please check the connections to Turku from the "By Bus" or "By Train" sections above.
HOW TO GET TO THE VENUE
BY BUS You can see the bus schedules from foli.fi. Type 'Yläkenttä' as your destination and find the best option to get to the venue.
BY CITY BIKE OR E-SCOOTER Turku has city bike stations all around the city where you can rent a bike and get around easily. There are also multiple e-scooter operators in Turku.
BY FOOT The venue is called 'Urheilupuiston Yläkenttä' and can be found in Google Maps and Apple Maps. The easiest way to access the venue by foot is from behind the City Theater along Neitsytpolku.
BY CAR There is a small parking lot on Samppalinnankatu and in addition there are parking spaces on the sides of the streets nearby. We recommend using public transport when possible.
EVENT INFO
PETS & CHILDREN
Children under 12 can enter the event for free when accompanied by an adult. Strollers are also welcome.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Yläkenttä.
ACCESSIBILITY
Yläkenttä is an artificial turf field located atop a steep hill, accessible via gravel paths. There are no stairs. There will be one portable toilet with unimpeded access on-site. The nearest accessible indoor restrooms are at Paavo Nurmi Stadium, about 500 meters away. There are limited accessible seating spots on the short side of the field near the entrance.
Spectators requiring assistance must purchase an event ticket, but their assistants can enter for free with the assisted person.
SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS
We will do our best to maintain general hygiene and health safety during the event.
The event will be livestreamed. You can follow the stream via ISTV or Ruutu. The link to the livestream will be published during the event week.

GETTING THERE
Urheilupuiston Yläkenttä (address: Neitsytpolku) is easily accessible when coming from the banks of the river, behind the Turku City Theater along Neitsytpolku. There is a small parking lot on Samppalinnankatu and in addition there are parking spaces on the sides of the streets nearby. We recommend arriving by public transportation, by bike or by foot.

BUYING THE TICKETS
You can buy spectator tickets from this website or from Liveto.fi. There will not be ticket sales at the event so tickets must be purchased in advance online!
FOOD AND DRINK
The venue has several food stalls providing various flavors and a licensed area for serving alcoholic beverages.
ALCOHOL AND SMOKING AREAS
There is a licensed area for drinking at Yläkenttä with an age limit of 18 years. Bringing your own alcoholic beverages to the area and smoking in the area are prohibited. The smoking area is located outside of the gates.
