EVENT INFO

CHILDREN & PETS

 

Children under 12 can enter the event for free when accompanied by an adult. Strollers are also welcome.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Yläkenttä.



ACCESSIBILITY

 

Yläkenttä is located on top of a steep hill and is accessed by sand roads. The venue is an artificial turf soccer field with no stairs. There will be one portable toilet with unimpeded access on-site. Closest indoor restrooms with unimpeded access are at the Paavo Nurmi stadion approximately 500 meters away. There are limited accessible spectator seats on the short side of the field next to the entrance.

 

Customers needing an assistant must buy a ticket to the event, but their assistant can enter free of charge with the person being assisted.

We will do our best to maintain general hygiene and health safety during the event.

​

The event will be livestreamed. You can follow the stream via ISTV or Ruutu. The link to the livestream will be published during the event week.

GETTING THERE

​

Urheilupuiston Yläkenttä (address: Neitsytpolku) is easily accessible when coming from the riverside, behind the Turku City Theater along Neitsytpolku. There is a small parking lot on Samppalinnankatu and in addition there are parking spaces on the sides of the streets nearby. We recommend arriving by public transportation, by bike or by foot.

BUYING THE TICKETS​

​

You can buy spectator tickets from this website or from Liveto.fi. There will not be ticket sales at the event so tickets must be purchased in advance online!​

SECURITY CHECK

​

A security check will be conducted at the entrance. Empty water bottles are allowed, but the following items are prohibited:

  • Glass bottles and cans

  • Alcohol and drugs​

  • Firearms, knives, and large hard objects

  • Aerosol cans (e.g., hairspray)

  • Umbrellas

  • Camping chairs

  • Selfie sticks

  • Walkie-talkies

  • Pets

  • Professional photography or video equipment without prior authorization

FOOD AND DRINK​

​

The venue has several food stalls providing various flavors and a licensed area for serving alcoholic beverages.

ALCOHOL AND SMOKING AREAS

​​

There is a licensed area for drinking at Yläkenttä with an age limit of 18 years. Bringing your own alcoholic beverages to the area and smoking in the area are prohibited. The smoking area is located outside of the gate.
